However, the overall ambiance fell flat, and I found the food overpriced and disappointing. I ordered the chicken satay, only to find it was the processed kind you can get frozen at the store. The baked Brie was also quite small. On the bright side, my husband enjoyed the sushi. I can't shake the feeling that this place has great potential; if they emphasized the sushi bar and showcased a cheerful chef at the back, similar to a hibachi setup, and tidied up the overall space, we’d definitely return. Instead, it felt like we were intruding in a staff area where we weren't really welcomed. The chef only acknowledged us as we were leaving to say goodbye. On a positive note, the music was fantastic—a nostalgic mix of Flock of Seagulls and Midge Ure that clearly appeals to an audience with some disposable income. As I mentioned, it could be an amazing place, but it just lacks soul.
