This restaurant is currently closed due to the pandemic, but they opened especially for our tour. They served us halibut with a butter/caper sauce and roasted chicken breast. We enjoyed a delicious Caesar salad and garlic toast, along with some sides that I didn't get a chance to try. The food was exceptional! The owner was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the ambiance was lovely. It felt like a farewell in... View all feedback.

Food 5/5 service 2/5 The food was very good and the portions were very large. We shared an appetizer and an entree. The crab and artichoke dip was amazing the baguette was soft and perfectly toasted. The halibut burger was very fresh and super delicious! The service was mediocre, the patio was not that busy but we didn't get our waters refilled and our food was delivered with out cutlery. This was my first time trying salmon on a cedar plank, and it was absolutely delicious! My husband had the halibut and salmon combo, which was also fantastic. These were truly some of the best seafood dishes we've ever had. A special shoutout to our waitress, Carrie, for her excellent recommendations. The staff was attentive and friendly as well.
The food and atmosphere were outstanding! Sam, our bartender who also served us, was fantastic and made our time enjoyable. Everyone at our table loved their meals. Thank you, Sam, for providing such a wonderful experience!
Our group of 15 had reservations at 7:30 and the table was ready at 7:30. The service was very good and friendly. They kept the glasses full and promptly filled our requests. Everyone enjoyed their meal except the fish and chips. Don’t get the fish and chips. The “prawns on the barbie” were very good. The location is perfect and it is a very attractive restaurant.
It’s an average tourist trap! The chowder was tasteless with hardly any seafood in it. The twisted plate, the salmon was dry plain, few asparagus and the berry sauce tastes from a conserves. The seafood pasta tastes fishy and the coleslaw dressing tastes like a soup (as my daughter described). The burger size is generous. Bill for five people no drinks came out $180!! We will NOT go back there!
We needed a place to eat before our whale watching excursion started. When we got to the restaurant they were quite busy and told us it would be a 20-25 minute wait. We were seated in less than 10 minutes, great start, and too bad it was also the peak of the meal. My wife ordered the halibut sandwich and I had the seafood plate with salmon and halibut. My wife’s sandwich was ok, pretty bland but cooked well. I wished I could say the same. Both of my pieces of fish were dry and tough, the halibut actually chewy, it was very disappointing. The bread and clam chowder appetisers were delicious, an A+. Overall the meal was ok, adequate, but not what we were expecting or paying for. We gave a fair tip and the bill was close to $100.00, more than I had ever paid for a lunch, even in Alaska. Bottom line, I don’t think I would go back to this establishment, keep walking to somewhere else.
