I recently visited a restaurant in Juneau and had a wonderful experience. I mentioned to the staff that I had prepared seafood for Thanksgiving in 2021, and now I was in Chicago. The king crab legs absolutely blew me away—simple yet incredibly delicious. I’m quite happy they’re down to $48 a portion because I might just have to order some for myself. What Sarah Phillips dislikes about Tracy's K:
Really disappointed in the crab, it was overcooked. The bisque was good, but very oily. The crab cakes were delicious. My husband ordered the beer battered shrimp, which he said was great. Overall, just sad the crab was overcooked. View all feedback.

The food was great I got the king crab legs the crackers for the outside of the legs where very good and where shaped like crab legs with I think is a unique feature, the fountain drinks are pretty big and have free refills, but if you want to get the king crab legs you will need you will need to get a job or have a garage sale because any size of the king crab legs a couple hundred dollars. The waiters\waitreses are very nice and polite, but nothing is perfect and you will need something to entertain yourself while you wait because if you go for lunch or diner the line wait will be 10 20 minutes, but trust me if you get the crab leg it will be worth the wait
5 words- All you can eat crab!! Check when they have this special on, definitely worth it. The crab tastes so fresh, and all side dishes were delicious as well. Lots of beer options, but save room for more crab!!
I visited this place while on a cruise to Alaska. I had never eaten crab before but it was very nice! It was very popular so there was a bit of a queue. But I would definitely recommend it.
We visited the second Tracy's in town, and the crab was exceptional!
Shannon and Phillip truly made my experience unforgettable with their amazing customer service. The Dungeness crab was absolutely outstanding and really stole the spotlight for me. I regret not taking a picture because I devoured it so quickly!

The most delicious snow crab legs I've ever had. I am not even remotely joking.

The crab bisque was equally delightful, and the beer-battered shrimp were a fantastic addition to the meal. Plus, they keep the beer perfectly chilled. If you find yourself in Juneau, this place is a must-visit. If you’re on a cruise like I was, skip the free meal onboard and head to this restaurant; they truly have the best crab legs in town!
This is the best crab I've ever had! If you're traveling to Alaska, you can't miss this place. We wanted to come back for dinner, but our ship left. The portions were huge, the atmosphere was fun, and they had nice gifts. Wow! It was definitely worth it.
There are two locations in town The largest is just off the cruise ships in downtown Juneau. The one we visited is served food truck style on the edge of town, probably more for the locals. Tracy's King Crab Shack has a simple menu focusing on well prepared seafood. We had an assortment of crab, shrimp, and halibut chowder. Dungeness crab was a personal best tasting meat. I didnt care for the beer battered shrimp. I removed the breading and the shrimp were tasty. The bottom line is, if you are in Juneau, you need to check it out.
The best crab you will ever have. The line may be long but it should only take you about 20 minutes to go through. The Crab combo is great you get the crab bisque, four mini crabcakes and some pretty nice crab legs for $85, expensive but can be split by two i’m worth every penny. If you cannot afford it it is many of the crab legs as you can they’re amazing and they’re served with a real drawn butter
We came to Tracy’s Crab Shack upon a friend’s recommendation and were blown away. Shout out to Derek who works out front with the Alaskan crab legs for patiently explaining how it all works and making recommendations for us what to order. We got the 3lb bucket of Alaskan Golden King Crab for $220 USD and a bowl of bisque and loved every bite. Definitely a must visit if ever in Juneau, Alaska. Say hi to Derek if you do!
