I felt welcomed right away... read more This is a fantastic spot to connect with the locals and fishermen of Juneau. I had a 9 o'clock layover and took a taxi to get there. I felt welcomed right away and, despite the poor taxi and rideshare services, I managed to find a ride back to the airport with a friend of the bartender. The prices were very affordable, too! I definitely recommend this place.

One of the standout features is the view... read more This is definitely a lively restaurant! The food is excellent, and the selection of alcoholic beverages is impressive. One of the standout features is the view of the harbor. It’s a fantastic place to dine in Juneau. I'm somewhat surprised that The Hot Bite continues to thrive with Squires Rest just around the corner. Overall, it offers great food, a good drink selection, and friendly service. I am very pleased with my experience.

This is also mostly for the food we had here, though the woman at the bar that served our soft drinks was very friendly. I'm not sure if I'd call this a dive bar, or not, but I kind of loved the atmosphere here. It was laid back and welcoming, something a place like this doesn't always achieve. The food was the star, though, and there was a lot of it. I am very picky about fish chips, but I'd go back for these any time. I would definitely say this place is worth the drive out of Juneau.

Our food order t... read more We visited this restaurant based on friends' recommendations, but we were sadly disappointed. The atmosphere and bar service were just average. Our food order took an unusually long time for just a burger and fries. The burger was overcooked and lacked flavor, while the fries were soggy and greasy. I might consider giving them another chance, but I’m not very optimistic about it.
