After eating here a few times, I can confidently say it's my favorite Indian restaurant in all of Juniau. Honestly, it's the best Indian food I've had anywhere. Well that was a disaster. Started out alright. Server was friendly and personable. But then the server seemed to forget to put the order in. Took about an hour to get the food. Server then forgot an order of drinks that took a while to fix. Food was fine enough but then server never came back so we had to go up to the counter to ask for the check. We made reservations for 4 of us for dinner and had a super cute booth in a nook. The menu has an extensive selection and the food was excellent. We had a great time!
Spice surprised me with some of the best and most authentic flavors I’ve experienced outside of India. It’s hard to believe that in such a remote town, she can find the ingredients for such a fine dish, but here I felt the same attention to detail normally reserved for traditional families at home, where food is love.
The rice is absolutely delicious, as are the garlic naan and the rice dessert. However, I've visited three times, and each time I had to wait over 45 minutes for my food. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're prepared to spend at least an hour and a half there.
Excellent lamb curry, got the large and was definately enough for two people. Flavorful and lamb was cooked perfectly with big chunks of it in the curry. I’m definately coming back and would definitely recommend to friends. Waitress was very friendly.
Good authentic Indian food in a small beautiful ambience. Nimmi, the owner started the business was gracious to wish and talk to us. Awesome
