What User doesn't like about Mcgivney's Sports Grill:
The food was good, the service was good. But they have this AWFUL plastic (assuming for COVID) hanging in front of the bar. Its so obnoxious. Its literally like 6 inches in front of your face. They need to take that down ASAP. Its awful View all feedback.
The halibut burger and fries were excellent. However, the service left much to be desired. The fries were nearly cold by the time our server brought us the napkins and utensils.
I thought this was an Irish pub type restaurant based on the name. If it is I'm st a loss for words. Nachos were mediocre at best and the waitress didn't even know what an Irish Car Bomb was. Ugh. Don't recommend waisting your time.
Hands down, to DIE FOR! If you’re in Juneau, you have to eat here! Nothing will disappoint.
Sports bar with great food and service. The cocktail selection is great as well. Beers are local and lots of selection.
On Monday night, July 17th, we entered the restaurant and sat there for 15 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. Waiters and staff walked by repeatedly without offering a greeting or even a simple "I'll be with you shortly." Frustrated, we decided to leave and headed to 'The Hanger,' where we were promptly seated and attended to.
