I met my partner at this place, and some of his posts have even been delivered here. I love it for its rich history and inviting atmosphere. It’s a great spot to enjoy a quiet afternoon. It's also a good place to catch a game. In the evenings, it tends to have a lively crowd, with both young people and others joining in. During major celebrations and sporting events, they host some fantastic parties with unique cockt... View all feedback.

Good bar food and drink options. Could be cleaner, but you know people get when they drink haha also, there could be more people working the bar or tables. Drink service can be a wait on busy nights. View all feedback.
The bartender assured me that they had WiFi when I asked before placing my order. She confirmed it but had to call the owner for the password. In the meantime, she poured my pint of Stella Artois, and I paid. However, I was left waiting by the bar without any updates. I had no clue whether she had contacted her boss, and she didn’t keep me informed, which made me feel ignored. After about 15 minutes, I asked if she had received the password, and unexpectedly, she snapped at me, saying she had messaged her boss on WhatsApp but hadn’t received a response. Out of nowhere, she took my beer away and told me to leave. I complied, not wanting to cause a scene. As far as I could tell, I hadn’t been rude to her, just anxious, as we were waiting for news from our children. This was definitely not a respectful way to treat customers. I was very unimpressed. This billiards and bar establishment is a local favorite, drawing in both residents and visitors. The food is tasty, and the drinks come with great conversation.
Fantastic food! Always hits the mark late at night on weekends.
The location is within walking distance for state employees and for people visiting downtown. It is not far from two parking lots if you can't find street parking. It was dead when I went in at 11:30am for lunch but they had everyone cleaning which is a great thing. The crunch wrap was good but could be better. It lacks seasoning and is so large that when you lift it everything slides to the bottom. I assume they know this is a issue because it seems what they have done to combat it is plaster everything together with refried beans. I would have preferred to have two smaller ones. It allows control and also reduces the amount of filling which would yield a higher profit due to less being used. However it was a good meal for a decent price.
When in Juneau, you will quickly realize downtown and by the cruise port is where to go for a night out when visiting. The imperial bar is one of the very few bars that are open late, and probably the go late night hang out spot. The bar here is huge and it can get crowded some nights here. The drinks are set at good prices and they do have specials. I believe we paid $8 for a beer. At night they'll have a DJ and have a big enough space that people can dance and enjoy the music. We also ordered some tots while we drank and they were very good! We had a good time hanging out at imperial bar.
