excellent and authentic Italian cuisine. destined to reserve before the time. that is worth waiting if they do not have a reservation. the restaurant is small, clean, and there is a table next to the window that seats 4, large table. there is also an upper level that is open with quite steep steps. due to the pandemic there is a person in (open) bar area, often only one server does everything else, so geduld is neces... ! I think it 's kinda ridiculous, if you get the Alaska Solstice Vodka Lemonade they charge you $10 for HALF the can. If you want the full can that is only 8% ALC they charge you $20 for a FULL can! Wish I knew this before I ordered it.
WoW so glad on our stop over from cruise we found Hanger on the wharf!! Fresh Alaskan King crab. Super delicious, fresh and sweet!! Cod chips amazing also BUT if your like myself and Love a good chowder?? The COD chowder was to die for!! We are talking one of the best. Full of cod and thick yummy chowder with perfect seasoning served in a nice sour dough bowl. 9 day cruise and the Hanger was the BEST meal we had.
I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant with excellent service and delicious food. I dined in for dinner, and the price was between $20 and $30 per person. The food deserves a solid 4 out of 5, as does the service and atmosphere. I highly recommend trying the salad, burger, jambalaya, chowder, onion rings, and halibut fish and chips!
The waitress was not good. She was busy so I get it but she was just snippy from the start. For example What do you want? Just not pleasant. It 's probably like everywhere hard to get help. The food was just ok... I had fish and chips-and the bar was actually nice inside. We had high hopes when we entered but the help was the biggest draw back. We went to San Bar in town and they had the best fish and chips.
Very clean environment best spot to eat and sit looking out at the wharf. Very friendly and helpful staff. The food is amazing, big portions for the prices.
