If I owned a bar, Griz Bar would be it! What an awesome place. View? Spectacular. Open Fire Pits to enjoy the Alaskan Arctic Chill? Spot On. Fantastic Beers On Tap? Check. But, for my money– I am all about two things: Cocktails and Service. Cocktails? Mastered. I enjoyed a bourbon beverage made from Boatwright Bourbon–which is made by hand, right here in southeast Alaska. (Plus, the packaging is super cool! . The entire experience was a love letter from Alaska. The bartender, Dida, was professional, knowledgeable and made me feel at home. I loved it so much that I brought my boyfriend back later in the week–to a repeat of the same stellar service and fantastic hot toddy–thank you Justin! Additionally, the taco truck next door ROCKS! Looking forward to visiting this open air bar, when the snow has gone and the sun has come!

Really wonderful beer selection and nice bartender. Great view with a fantastic taco shop next door that served legit tacos.

The bar tender, Lena, was AMAZING. She improvised some things for me and some friends, and everything tasted perfect. My first night out in Juneau was made because of this gal.

Great little outdoor bar right across the street from the cruise ship docks. Decent craft beer selection.
