It looks a bit strange, but this opinion comes from a non-Alaskan. You order food and pay on a food only counters and they call out your name when it is ready. But when it comes, it's very delicious. Had a smoked turkey sandwich with sweet potatoes. Bar billing is independent of the food order. Limited beer selection, but it seems mostly local brews. View all feedback.
This might sound a little odd, but keep in mind that I'm not from Alaska. You place your food order and pay at a counter that serves food only, and then they call your name when your meal is ready. However, once it arrives, it's incredibly tasty. I tried a smoked turkey sandwich with sweet potatoes, and it was fantastic. The bar operates separately from the food service. The beer selection is somewhat limited, but it mainly features local brews.
The service is not the quickest, but the food is excellent. Be sure to visit Dean's for some sandwiches. I ordered the BBQ pork with a side of coleslaw, and the portions were generous. My wife tried the fish and chips, which came with great bread. It's a cozy little café at the Imperial Saloon.
Front Street Cafe is located in Imperial Saloon Bar. Free Wi-Fi also from the bar. It is window service order and pickup. Your food is quite good, but limited menu. Credit cards accepted.
Fantastic food. It is located within the Imperial Bar, so not a local, it was difficult to find first, but all of the burgers, to the smoked pork ribs to the loaded perpetrator bags were fantastic.
Some of the best bar food I've ever had. The meatloaf sandwich is amazing !
