Forno Rosso Alaska - Juneau

We had lunch at Forno Rosso in Juneau, Alaska, during a stop on our cruise. The pizza was absolutely delicious! They use the freshest locally sourced ingredients, both for the toppings and meats. The pizzas are baked in a wood-fired oven, and the aromas are simply delightful. It's a must-visit spot when you're in Juneau. We will definitely return!

I had a delicious experience at a small restaurant where they serve authentic wood-fired pizza! The dough was great, and the toppings were flavorful and abundant, perfect for a thin crust. I enjoyed a pizza topped with tender meat, goat cheese, Alaskan Amber white sauce, thinly sliced red onions, black olives, and either pepperoni or salami—I can't quite remember which. I added some fresh basil to my pizza and paired it with a blueberry-vanilla Italian soda. It was all very tasty and cost me under $20, which is impressive for Juneau! I will definitely return next time and highly recommend everything!

Rent the pizza. I was advised by a longer than normal waiting period but didn't have to wait until I had predicted. evaluates the position next to the alaskan brewing co. tasting room.

They use the freshest ingredients (vegetables and/or meats), all locally sourced. Pizzas are cooked in a wood-burning oven and the flavors are delectable. A must visit place for a bite when in Juneau. We will definitely return.
