We ate here one night while staying at the hotel. We ordered the filet and lamb confit. It was pretty average, maybe even a little disappointing considering the convenience of the location. We had a very nice dinner, in stunning surroundings, at Jas de Joucas. The gravlax starter was good, the fillet steak average, and the cheescake was good. Wine was from Le Citadel in Menerbes, one of the best Luberon wines in my opinion. So why only 4 stars? The challenge for Le Jas de Joucas is that good is not good enough, with such serious competition nearby. The excellent Piquebaure, only a 10 minute drive away, Bistrot des Roques, Fleure de Sel, and 3 restaurants in Goult, all offer superior quality, though perhaps in less impressive surroundings.
A restaurant full of charm a kitchen your good tastes and visually very full of colors I strongly recommend it for people who stay as from the outside.
We shared a family moment in the hotel's restaurant. The dishes are well prepared. big wine card. the service and the restaurant room is pleasant in this beautiful place of the hotel.
I can unfortunately not give more because we had several small "necks" during our visit. My husband asks for a chimay beer on the map) , there is no more, okay , he asks for a leffe and this one is served in a jupiler glass! big mistake in this kind of establishment! we also ask for a half bottle of sparkling water, and we are told that there are no more! zut, the liter is too big for us to use the entrance while the aperitif has barely arrived! Thankfully, it was a cold entrance! The foie gras was not well seasoned the dishes were good. They forgot to serve our wine at the table but there is worse, they forgot to serve the entrance of a couple and brought the two dishes before! It’s a little bit much! To encourage them, I put one because I am sure they have potential! Be careful!
And also for this time came the last dinner in my beloved luberon. my partner chose this restaurant that has a unique location immersed in a forest of natural sea pines the construction of the hotel has absolutely not ruined the landscape.) Too bad today the wind that has guided all our day... despite this natural inconvenience the dinner was excellent and to be repeated. Menu with wide choices between meat, fish and vegetables. Excellent my entree tomates anciennes and my second based on cabillau and a fantastic risotto with spelt. Efficient smiling and caring staff. And the wind didn't even bother
