Sushisamba - Jordaan

Not really a review type person, but I got to know SushiSamba in London. And I must say it instantly took my expectation of any sushi I eat up by a whole lot. The South American influence on the dishes is great! I had to visit Sushisamba Amsterdam once I heard they opened up. It was amazing, the staff is great and well trained. The dishes were as expected and the atmosphere is superb. The terrace at the water is definitely a plus during the summer months! The menu is very diverse which can make it hard to decide. But Wesley told me they have this “thing” called Omakase which means I’ll leave it up to you. I would recommend trusting your waiter and going for this!

Speedy friendly service, our hostess laura was very kind and spot on. Didn't fill in the review card because i told her it was worth all fives. Flavors were good, the seviche with scallops was very nice with crunchy vegetables and the sourness was just right. Sushi was nicely made. Colorful and nice texture of soft rice and fresh fish. The spicy tuna was not too spicy just enough for the spicy kick wich is good, otherwise you will be ordering a lot of table water. I would recommend it

The best sushi I have ever had and the service was flawless, would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fancy feel good meal.
