A hidden little gem in Joondalup, approx 4 mins drive from Lakeside. No free parking seemed to be nearby, but the food is definitely worth paying for parking. I ordered the Zucchini Bruschetta (it was delicious), and looking around it seemed all of the meals were of a generous portion. Service was prompt and friendly. Would come back again if in the area ???? View all feedback.
What Clara McKenzie doesn't like about The Buttery Cafe and Homewares:
A quiet cafe located in a commercial centre nearby the Joondalup shopping centre. It has quite a local feel with a small shop inside selling home wares. Having loved the Spanish omelette I had a week ago elsewhere, this cafe was offering their version on special so I took up the chance. Quite a disappointment actually. Breakfast spot with great coffee and reliably good meals. Nicely sized portions without being too big and filling. I got the waffles - they are as tasty as they look.
Amazing good. Great coffee and service. Such an array of choices for breakfast! The Mexican pulled lamb quesadilla is to die for! Generous serving sizes also! Will be back
Never disappoints! Great coffee and moorish food, excellent attention to detail and service. Highly recommend this for breakfast or a brunch.

Beautiful food! Was so happy we popped in today whilst visiting "the end of the freeway" because our breakfast was absolutely delish! Menu is pretty standard with a few creative dishes. I went with my favourite classic, Salmon Benedict. The toast was thick cut, full of divine nuts and seeds and really lovely. Eggs were poached beautifully, generous serving of salmon and I loved the addition of avocado as well as spinach. The thing that made the dish was a sprinkling of capers amongst the hollandaise. Such a nice surprise! Coffee was good, quite strong and smooth. Cute interiors too, shame the gift shop attached was closed for the day!
