Recently I had to visit the hospital a bit and was pleased to find the cafe on site has amazing coffee. I'm unsure as to if they've changed since the last reviews I just read and was also pleased to find they don't charge extra for extra coffee shots or soy milk; and my interaction with staff was always nothing but pleasant. Ive worked hospitality my whole career and didn't find their price exorbitant at all, I asked... View all feedback.
What Molly Smith doesn't like about Pause Café:
Owners = Rude.
Food & Drinks = over priced ($10.50) for a toasted sandwich???
Staff = Need to be more polite to everyone.
With this cafe having the monotony in the hospital and treating the sick, injured and elderly the way they do, they should be ashamed of running this business the way the do.
I will never visit this establishment again! View all feedback.
Who is a smoked scarlet bag? absolutely horrible. We didn't know until we went with them after a long hospital visit. call them and was said because they are in the closet, they must be roasted! that is because they are stale. absolutely revolting and cost a fortune. none of us could eat it. not to buy from there.
I'm disgusting in the staff I just served. I've never written such an evaluation, but I've never been treated so terrible by a place. I came in and asked for an icy coffee with vanilla syrup with a smile on my face. just to say rude that they did not aromatized coffee. that was good, so I asked if I could just have a pump of the milkshake syrup. in him that was right there, she yelled at me again. I let it go and tried to pay for what I had ordered. I was again rudely shouted that I had to spend a certain amount, so I added to my command a crossiant. when the dame called out my order, I only went up to grow again: "This is another...read more
Apart from the fast, intelligent maori girls at the cash, this seeming "cafe" business is terrible. white processed heavy brot is the superordinate thema. strange as his in the Joondalup hospital, maybe her goal is to keep people in the hospital. overpriced. other workers looked mad because they were there. accompanying all this was the sound of ghetto rap, just what a doctor would order on the morning at 9.30 a.m. the owner I think American, was loud, has spoken about me in some length to another guy on another table for respect before his customers and move them on the young table. he shouldn't be in this business.
Really rude staff and no customer service except a young Maori girl who was lovely. the caffe is overpriced and uses people when they are most vulnerable and the sick house is due because they have given the contract to these owners. it brings down the call of the sick house, so they get a new owner
I will never frequent this cafe again. This is the second time I have been met with attitude. The first time there wasnt much interaction, just ordering and receiving my order, but the staff came across very surly and when I did ask a question, it was as if I was wasting her time. Today, I had been up all night in the A&E department with my daughter, so I was sleep deprived and it was now 1.00 pm. I thought I'd ordered a toasted ham and cheese panini. When I went to collect it, it was a toasted sandwich. I stopped, went to hand it back as I thought it was someone elses order. I admitted it was my mistake as I thought I had orded a panini. They do not do ham and cheese toasted paninis...read more
