Contribute Feedback What Jalyn Corkery doesn't like about Chopin Patisserie & Cafe:
Not sure what the point of this place is. They have a very small selection of not so appealing pastry’s in the window, and the staff are so rude. Won’t be long till they go under. Hopefully br View all feedback.
This place has the worst service in Joondalup....with the best Polish style cherry filled donuts you can lay your lips on. If the staff cracked an occasional smile, the place would become a local favourite very quickly!
This place has nothing going for it. The service is extremely slow and the people serving you look depressed. The food is **** and they can't make a decent coffee
Negative: I went there recently and was very disappointed. Firstly the service was terrible. The coffee was very bitter it was burnt being a barista myself. I ordered a polish donut which was very dark brown in colour nothing like the golden brown colour on the pics. The lady serving me seemed very abrupt and didn't seem to really give a hoot about the customers. The cakes are like they are in other cake stores but least there is better service. Give it a miss!
**** experience. Went there this morning with my partner. Ordered two paczki and two coffees, I'm from a Polish family, so I know what I'm talking about. The paczki were overfried and looked like they had chocolate icing on top. I told the lady that I wanted them plain, she told me that that's how they come. So they were burnt to a chocolatey colour, paczki are supposed to be golden brown in colour. Coffee seemed to be watered down. My partner couldn't even drink hers. As we were leaving, the two staff members were talking, not even a thank you please come again, or even a have a good day. The owner needs to remind his employees that this is Australia and not Poland. Customer service is paramount to ensure continued patronage.
I tried to ask for a quote for a delivery for the following week and the owner (?) or staff member I spoke to was rude and completely unhelpful. I explained that the order would be small, perhaps 6-8 pastries at most and he kept saying that he "doesn't know what I'm talking about" so he couldn't' work out the quote. He said I'd have to say exactly what pastries I was after before I could order anything, but when I tried to explain that the Chopin website doesn't list their items so how could I know exactly what there is, he stated that can't help until I decide. You'd think that perhaps he could just offer up a suggestion of 6 pastries? Or at least make an attempt to help considering their website tells you nothing other than the fact they make cakes.
