When I lived in Arizona, I used to eat at Chipotle all the time, so we decided to stop by just after lunch to give it another try. We ordered two bowls, two drinks, and a large order of cheese chips, and the total came to $42! Unfortunately, the food was dreadful. My bowl had brown rice that could only be described as uncooked, barely any steak, and almost no black beans—apparently because “there's nobody back there cooking.” Meanwhile, I noticed eight employees in the lobby watching a video, including someone who looked like the manager and should know how to cook. To top it off, the large order of chips and queso was laughable! There were only half a bag of chips, and they were so stale they were inedible. Needless to say, we are extremely disappointed and won’t be spending our money there again!
The rice was hard and crunchy, and the burrito wasn’t properly rolled. The person preparing my food seemed more interested in flirting with the person behind me than focusing on the order. Honestly, Taco Bell would have been a much better choice. I spent $14 on a meal I barely touched before having to toss it out.
