What 624MikeP624 doesn't like about Taco King:
Located in a small strip mall, it is easy to pass by however don’t. The food is fresh and flavorful and they offer entrees most Mexican resaurants don’t, i.e. lengua, pozole, menudo, etc. View all feedback.
Fast, friendly, and tasty Mexican food at a reasonable price
Got the chicken and pazole soups s'okay, a little over salted and 15.50 per soup seemed a little much for the love that was in the cooking.
The taste is fitting given the restaurant 's distance from Mexico. Its the worst mexican food I 've ever had. Everything taste like it was either bought canned or it came from the cosco restaurant. The food is bland and flavorless compared to ACTUAL mexican food. Amazing this place even makes money.
Great food, fast and friendly service. Still one of the best in Anchorage.
Ordered food on New Year’s Eve. The worst food I’ve EVER gotten from a taco king. Everything was salty and dry, and I mean EVERYTHING my churros were burnt to a crisp. My King burrito (w chicken) was dry and soooooo salty. Salt kingdom, salt empire, salt galaxy. Just awful. I order lengua gringo tacos, they were chewy and the shells were wet and limp once they arrived. My enchiladas were also extremely salty. Who ever seasoned meats that day was on a salt binge, I swear. The entire order was doo doo! I’ve never been so let down. The Northern Lights location is fantastic, do NOT order from Huffman EVERRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!
