quite a lot of variation, ambiance is quite hot and long waiting queue when they come ready to give a try, laksa taste is beautiful. I think eating is halal because I saw that a much malay friend is eating here View all feedback.
What Jane Poon doesn't like about Foon Yew Laksa-san Lou Kuān Zhōng Sān Lóu Là Shā:
I expected to get my mind blown by any recommendation cuz I’m a Singaporean, right? But that certainly wasn’t the case here. This place is not near anything significant, so you’re really making the trip for the food which isn’t that amazing. For the Singaporeans it’s a slightly watered down laksa YTF with extra oil, with a Singapore food court price tag. All in all, not a steal and not a solid recommendation I can gi... Omg surprisingly so sedap cos I usually don't order curry laksa at kedai, but this! so pekat the kuah and idk what abt it is so good, but if it with the sambal ? ugh! the simpleness of eating really brings out the taste I guess wrong sari. cons but are tht u can wait a bit as waitschlange got many ppl to, it shows that the food sedap la kan so not rly a con and the tempat duduk oso kena wait la sometimes cos again, ramai org. it is worth trying to have it at least once: also drink wise, air simply2 only here, but sokay we come for the Melak.
Long heard about this laksa place in Stulang Walk, JB. notice the picture of the Johor crown price dinning here on their stall. Reached the place slightly over lunchtime and still noticed many people here having their meals. Understand that they dont served pork or lard, which explains different races dinning here. Over here, you can have either Laksa, dry noodle or clear soup. There a wide variety of ingredient to choose from. I had their laksa and selected the kway teow. The staff will check with you if you want to add cockles. Although there were quite many orders, my food didnt took long to be ready. My bowl of laksa and a drink cost me MYR$17. quite value for me as i selected quite a fair amount of ingredient. Laksa gravy is nice but rather dilute, would be better if its more thicker. Would come again!
One of the famous laksa location for breakfast. Take your own bowl, select your ingredient, person will ask you what kind of noodle you want(you can also not choose any noodle). Sit down and wait for the food to be serve. The laksa is great but not amazing. The soup is nice but it isn’t very hot when it arrived. Would wish that it was very hot. There’s not much flavour to the soup. Just a very light kind of laksa broth. No strong flavours. If this is the kind of laksa broth that you like. You will love it. The handmade fishball is nice and most of the beancurd stuff is super good. Please bring your own tissue or wet wipe. Prepare that this place is hot because there’s no fan or ventilation. The toilet is behind the cooking area. While walking pass be careful of the big oil pan.
Always full of people. Wide variety of ingredient. Laksa soup is gravy and taste good. Just the price abit pricey.
Good place to have lunch, pick yourself yong tou fu. Dry noodle is good! Laksa gravy with added chilli packs a punch! Shoik!
