What Niki Rousell doesn't like about The Italian Oven:
This was an outstandingly negative experience. The food was ok, cheesy bread sticks whatever were under cooked totally, big loaf of bread hard as a rock, lemonade was beyond gross, the waitress although very cute and nice, is not cut out to be a waitress. Over a half an hour to get a drink, 45 mins for any sign of food, forgot our salad dressing and still brought the wrong ones! List goes on and on. Other tables with... View all feedback.
MY MOTHER WAS UP THE ITALIAN OVEN IN THE GALERIA. SHE BOUGHT A STROMBOLI. PAID 13.00 TAX FOR IT. SHE WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED.
The Italian oven has always been one of my favorites. I like the chicken and vegetable over pasta dish. The pizzas are great as well
1st ti.e there. Had a Stromboli. It was very good. The staff was friendly kept my drink full. They roll paper on table have crayons to Doodle while you wait. Kid-friendliness: It is Kid Friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: It is wheelchair accessible.
Our waitress, Heather, was absolutely wonderful. The food was so delicious. My family and I will definitely continue eating at The Italian Oven.
The Italian Oven has been our favorite place to eat for over 20 years. We would eat there almost weekly, whether it was in person or takeout. It was better than Olive Garden! However, I understand it is now under new ownership and the food is now inedible. I have never in my life sent food back simply because it tasted bad before tonight. The Alfredo sauce was flavorless, gritty, and watery. It was as if they mixed water with some Parmesan Cheese and called it Alfredo. I asked for a meat sauce instead, which was just a big pile of ground beef on my pasta. Like eating a sloppy joe on pasta. Everything was greatly lacking in seasoning. The house Italian dressing used to be so good, but now it was just oil with some herbs in it. Again, no salt and tasteless. They were out of Italian Wedding Soup, leaving only 1 kind of soup, Red Pepper Cream. Which just tasted like a bowl of pasta sauce. A nice touch was always the mints by the counter at the end of your meal. No more mints. I am so disappointed. My favorite restaurant has been ruined! Sadly, I will never eat here again unless I hear the old recipes are back.
