Because of Desparado's. A group of us followed them in late 70's into the 80's. Good to know after this many years, they still have it together. Plaza Lounge was our place to go. Oh, the good ole days. Plus, my good friend,Marilynn, worked at Southmont Gardens for years. Great, friendly place

Great place for drinks and music. Bartenders here are friendly and funny. Hehe.
Nice, neighborhood bar with a rock theme. Live music two or three nights a week. Friendly staff and owners. Typical bar food, but it's pretty good. Just wish that smoking was not allowed.
