We hosted a fundraising event for the American Heart Association and reached out to our food truck providers already scheduled to be onsite to see if they would be interested in providing a portion of donations for that day. Cory reached out interested but relayed his concern about not making a profit yet as the site is still ramping up. I totally understood and relayed that we were really going to promote the event and encourage everyone to eat there for that day and could play it by ear. So I understood that we were playing it by ear and hoping he received enough to generate proceeds back. Here is my issue. After the event, I reached out twice by email and then finally by text since he had used that communication before. I received nothing back by email and when I texted he responded, I 'm out of town until September for a family trip, Thanks. Our event was on July 25th and you texted me this on August 7th. You 're saying you won 't be back until September? Our fundraising event is ending in August! I asked if there is another contact I could reach out to and was ghosted. I get if the profit wasn 't there that you wanted. I get that we were playing it by ear and hoping for the best. What is unacceptable is not communicating either way, especially when this was all to support a charity. I truly have never been ghosted by a vendor when all I wanted to do was try and set up a successful fundraiser to give back to our community. Regardless, I thought it was a nice way to support both Smoke Seitz on-site and this fundraiser.To make it even better, they decided to post all about the event on their Facebook and social media but they can 't even communicate back on how the event went.

The team at... read more We had Seitz cater our casual wedding reception. The food was delicious. The service was excellent. Cory responded to questions timely and clearly. The team at our event was great. Our guests raved over the smoked pig and smoked chicken. We wish we had more leftovers, but everyone ate it all!

I am sure we just fell through the cracks as I stated we had a good order the first time but after months of calling, emailing and using social media and getting excuses about personal issues or no answer for weeks we finally needed to move on and got a refund after posting this review.
