The happy hour here is absolutely BANGING!! I included a picture of the happy hour menu. You just don't get deals like this anywhere anymore! The food was so good and the price was so inexpensive! I'm a huge fan! Just wish there was more than one person making alcoholic beverages! Service on that front could've been quicker but she was busy serving tables too. View all feedback.
What John Washko doesn't like about Anthony's Wood Fired Pizza:
My wife and I went there on New Years Eve. She ordered the pan seared shrimp and scallops; it said it came with vegetables and rice. The amount of vegetables was almost non existent, no broccoli or other veggies and the rice was sparse, at best. I ordered Shrimp Scampi the shrimp and pasta were good but the dish usually comes with asparagus, which was non existent. Maybe they were afraid of running out of vegetables... View all feedback.
Food was phenomenal! Service was excellent and the prices were very reasonable. Will most definitely return!
I was introduced to Anthony’s decades ago (1995) when I had my wedding reception there. They do an excellent job of catering an event, I also bought their chicken tenders for my son’s graduation party and once again they didn’t disappoint. If you haven’t had them, you should. In recent years they have added a brick oven for traditional Italian pizza, which is really good. I recently tried the house made fettuccine a la Bolognese, very authentic. The staff are very attentive, plus the manager and chef stopped by to make sure everything was okay.
We ordered the Margherita pizza, lasagna, and chicken picatta. The pizza was excellent and the lasagna was one of the better ones I’ve ever tried. But the chicken piccata wasn’t very good. The sauce was too loose and made eating the linguini they paired it with frustrating. The sauce couldn’t adhere itself to the pasta and kept slipping off it. I had more sauce in my pasta bowl than in my gut after all was said and done. Cheesecake Factory makes a better piccata using capellini and larger, flat chicken cutlets. The service was top notch and our server threw in two gob cakes for us to sample for free. Would definitely come back again when we’re in town.
We love Anthony’s. Order from there frequently. Was disappointed this Mother’s Day though. Ordered Penne Alfredo, there was so much parsley MIXED IN in that you couldn’t taste the Alfredo. The chicken didn’t seem grilled to me maybe just boiled? We were not a fan. A little sad as that was my Mother’s Day dinner. We frequently get the penne Alfredo and it has never been like this. Will order again but it’s going to be a little bit until we do. Lol
Food was excellent and service was fast and waitresses were very friendly. Chicken tenders and rigatoni and meatballs were phenomenal. Gob cake had the best filling. Would go out of my way to get a piece or whole cake to share.
