Late afternoon on a beautiful October day and the pleasant grounds and lovely teahouse were so beautiful and inviting that my husband and I stopped to have a warm drink. However, the sweets looked so good, that we splurged! We had a delicious cheese plate and then a pot of English breakfast tea with a slice of raspberry linzer torte and a slice of cherry marzipan cake. The cakes were absolutely scrumptious and made in-house. We chatted with the owners a bit, and they were lovely people and cat lovers. They also have a cottage on Airbnb, and several adorable chubby cats!

The foo... read more Thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Fledermaus. Originally I had booked for two, turned up with three and a baby and they accommodated us with out a problem. The food and cake was delicious and the hosts made us feel very welcome! It is also in abeautiful location, especially with the fall foliage.

They had some gluten free options, including a delicious gluten free chocolate layer cake with creamy almond butter frosting. The owners were so sokind. I can?t wait to go back!
