We’ve camped all across the US and rarely see campsites this large. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The staff are accommodating and pleasant. The views of the mountains are breathtaking (especially in the Fall. The out buildings are always super clean and have the typical pay showers if you need them. The salt water pool is divine with an incredible view of the mountains. The camp store/office is a beautiful building and nicely stocked. Prices are reasonable (including ice, wood and a yummy ice cream shop! and it can usually get you out of a pinch for camper supplies or grocery items, but there’s also large stores within 10 minutes. Their entertainment pavilion is lovely and they have fun activities for the family and music some weekends. Maplewoods is a great place to just relax and enjoy the outdoors and those around you... but if you’re looking for things to do there is a recreation path (Rail Trail for biking/walking and a river for tubing just a few miles away and many lakes/ponds and hiking trails within a 10-15 minute drive. This is a quiet, tucked away destination with so much to offer (almost hate sharing. ?

Nice place to grab some coffee and a bite to eat on a cold winter day.

The Iced Chai Lattes here are the BEST I 've ever had! Also, order some goop huge, soft chocolate chip or M&M cookies that are perfect for a late night snack. The only thing they 're missing are To Go vegan lunch options; but you can get veggie stick snack cups to hold you over...

We were placed in a zone with lots of folks who appear to be staying longer-term (furnishings and decorations out, etc. . Didn't see much of them, as we were out most of the day doing stuff, and crashed out later in the day. Hookups are conveniently along the side, where it's easy to connect, and the restrooms are nicely kept up and in working order. We were grateful for the wifi (which has several sub-networks through the campground to make sure there's plenty to go around after several days in the White and Green Mountains, where cell service is nearly impossible to maintain. Stayed two nights, cancelling a different reservation nearby, for the convenience to 100.
