Poblanos - Johnson City

My wife and I recently visited Poblano's and were very satisfied. Unlike many Tex-Mex restaurants in the area, this place offers two different types of soup, which we found to be a pleasant surprise.

We initially believed this was the best Mexican restaurant in Johnson City Jonesborough, but we were mistaken. The staff informed us that vegetarian dishes do not include meat. The restaurant appears to be limited in space and even includes chicken sticks in their vegetarian options on the menu. Our waitress confirmed on 2/04/22 that all their sauces and salsas, including the chicken-seasoned ones, are not vegetarian. On 2/02/22, our waiter mistakenly thought he only needed to substitute the Mex rice for white rice and replace the beans with black beans. Updated based on a previous review on 2022-02-05.

We initially believed this was the top Mexican restaurant in Johnson City Jonesborough, but we were mistaken. We were told that they do not consider vegetarians to eat meat. The restaurant also uses lard and chicken stock in their vegetarian dishes, which is not okay. Our waitress informed us on 2/04/22 that all of their sauces and salsas are not vegetarian.
