I have to say that this place is truly great and more than just food. They help out the homeless if they don't have money and they are glad to do it. They are always friendly and positive. The food is really good and it's fairly priced. This is by far one of my favorite restaurants! View all feedback.
What Cam Hines doesn't like about El Charolais:
They seemed annoyed that I wanted to place a take out order and were ultimately unable to even find the simple menu items I wanted in their POS system at the front. I was told to just flag down the next server that walked by instead and that they might be able to help. I left. Service: 1 View all feedback.
Came here 15 minutes ago. my wife and I waited for about 5 minutes until someone noticed we came in. took place shortly after the chips brought away immediately, sat there for 10 more minutes until another waiter asked if we even ordered drinks to finally order. 35 minutes waiting for our food. my meal I came with tortillas and I got a sauce on the side that came 1p min after I got my actual food. it's our first time. we wanted to talk to someone who was the manager. he gave my wife and I the answer they were doing and didn't do anything to stay with us. we went out without payment.
Loved the food, great service, super cheap lunch prices. Taco Salat was so good. Anyway, it'll be back.
This is a fantastic Mexican restaurant and u is worth Ur money, and the Alambre is great and u better ready, it is a variety of foods, must be a hungry guy, or women, and the Ceviche my husband loves it and says it is really good. Will certainly be back and the waiters r big ..
The BEST Mexican restaurant I've ever eaten at. Tex-Mex is cool if you like Taco Bell, but El Charolais's Mexican Street Tacos are SO much better. Tacos Al Pastor and Tripa are my favorites, but they have a LOT more texture and flavor than the tacos we're used to. Give it a try, but I seriously doubt you'll be disappointed.
Wonderful people. We drive all the way from Asheville once a week because these folks are so nice, and you get more than what you pay for. We LOVE Dora but other waiters are nice too. We own a business in Asheville and these folks have great customer service and prices. Thank you!!
