Reviews - Java Java Coffee House
Reviews summary
Nestled in Freshfields near the Ocean Course, this bustling café is prized for crafted lattes, seasonal specialties (Honey Lavender, Frozen Java Java), solid cold brew and standout breakfast sandwiches like the Wakey Bakey. Friendly, attentive staff, a new mural and freshly made pastries keep locals and visitors coming back despite morning lines, higher prices and a pared-down menu. Ideal for coffee aficionados, families and travelers seeking a welcoming spot for breakfast or a memorable specialty coffee.

Best frozen coffee ever Frozen Java Java! You won?t be disappointed and better than any of Starbucks Frappuccinos. Only knock is the iPad tip at checkout. Not sure they?re working off of tips like wait staff usually are. Don?t want to look stingy infront of that long line. Should they be doing this?
While there are new options in fresh fields this summer, java java will always be my go to for my favorite fig and prosciutto panini with a iced chai latte. The employees were very welcoming and the new mural is beyond beautiful! I definitely recommendgoing around noon, because In the morning there is a line out door!
This is THE place to go for excellent and delicious food for breakfast or lunch all made to order with fresh ingredients! You will find sandwiches and other entrees that are unique blends of ingredients and so delicious! Drinks are made by very busybaristas friendly, smiling, efficient and professional. I have been going there for years and have found the food and drinksconsistently first rate. Even when the lines go out the door in the busiest seasons, everyone works fast, helping each otherfulfill orders as quickly as possible. And in those busy seasons, there may be a short wait since everything is made to orderin a tiny kitchen, (except those wonderful chocolates, cookies and other pastries! . But everyone works so fast and keepssmiling even if a customer gets a little impatient! Go in with high expectations for the wonderful treats Java Java has for you. . .and a big smile you will not be disappointed! I never have been!
My dad and I stopped in to grab a couple of coffees mid-afternoon on the way to the Ocean Course. He was looking for a light sandwich but didn?t really see anything he wanted so he went with the cranberry muffin which he said was really good. He got ahot coffee and I got a large iced coffee. The cold brew was good, nothing too crazy or standoutish to me. My dad said his coffeewas good but not very hot and drank it in like 3 minutes. It was a nice little shop. Nothing blew me away but i don?t have anybad things to say about it. I would come back in if i was in the area.
Absolutely the best frozen coffee I've ever had—Frozen Java Java! You won't be let down; it's far superior to any Starbucks Frappuccino. The only downside is the iPad tip prompt at checkout. I'm not sure if the staff relies on tips like traditional waitstaff do. I don't want to seem stingy in front of the long line, but I'm questioning whether they should be asking for tips at all.

This is my family's favorite place for breakfast. The food is consistently fresh and delicious! The owner and her staff make us feel incredibly welcome and always go the extra mile. They even remember our orders by heart!
This is a fantastic little coffee shop on Seabrook Island. We visited a few mornings for coffee and breakfast sandwiches! If you arrive early enough, the service is quite fast as well!
I recommend that you serve eggs until noon if you claim to offer breakfast until that time.
We came here while on vacation, and I have to say, the sandwich I had was one of the best breakfast sandwiches I have ever had in my life. By FAR. Could not recommend the Wakey Bakey more. The cold brew was also delicious. We found seating for four easily and had a great time. Seriously, try out the Wakey Bakey! The classic sausage egg and cheese croissant my friend got also looked great and was huge.

The pumpkin smoothie is my absolute favorite! The staff works quickly and the food is always fresh. I love visiting this feel good atmosphere all year long.
The coffee here is fantastic! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, especially when you're struggling to choose what to try. We always order hot lattes, and they have the most delicious flavor.
My fav sammie is the Greenery- I add bacon tomato! My go to spot to refuel between patients. Many thanks for supporting my caffeinated health habits!

We were certainly pleased with our breakfast and coffee. The service was quick, and we enjoyed the breakfast sandwiches we ordered. We also grabbed a pastry for the road, which turned out to be the perfect treat. Take a look at this!
Java Java is freshness on a plate. Every dish I've tried has been absolutely delicious—did I mention that? You must try the Greenery sandwich, and don’t leave without sampling the homemade scorpions or the oat flakes. The staff is fantastic as well. Oh, and did I mention that they serve the best cappuccino?
