The exceptional food includes dishes like shrimp and grits, Coq au Vin, and fried green tomatoes, along with great wine deals. The cozy restaurant, despite being out of the way on Johns Island, provides a wonderful dining experience. The grilled okra, shrimp and crab, and pluff mud cake are standout items. The service was friendly and attentive, making for a great overall meal. Highly recommended for visitors to the area looking for an excellent dining option.
It was the first time I was here. Food was fantastic. They had great wine deals. Service was good. The table we were at was very small and I was pinned in near the door. I'm Would have liked a little more room but all in all a great meal. Highly recommend
We enjoyed our dinner so much at the Fat Hen that we ended up having lunch brunch on the way out of town. We stayed at the Sanctuary and arrived a day before our gang so we went off Island for a little local flavor
