China Taste - Johns Island

My partner and I have been dining here for years, and even during the early days of the pandemic, the food remained consistently delicious! I'm sitting here enjoying my meal while writing this because today's experience was truly review-worthy. They cook the broccoli with brown sauce to absolute perfection. The egg rolls are crispy and flavorful, and the General Tso's chicken has just the right amount of spice. We visit at least twice a month and have never been disappointed. The staff is always incredibly friendly and very quick! We absolutely love China Taste. Please never leave the island!

I had the best steamed dumplings at this restaurant! The soups and sauces were fantastic, and the service was excellent. They use the freshest ingredients, and everything was really tasty. It was a perfect treat after my pedicure nearby.

This is a solid local option for typical Americanized Chinese dishes, like General Tso's Chicken and others. They have been offering delivery service only since the COVID pandemic.

At the recommendation of my youngest son, who also lives in Johns Island, we ordered delivery via Door Dash, and were happy that we did. Our order consisted of 2 spring rolls, steamed dumplings, wonton egg drop mixed soup, beef with oyster sauce, and shrimp with Chinese vegetables. Everything was delicious, still warm enough, not to need any reheating, and the portions large enough, that we had leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch.

Great food choices. They even have hibachi and for the price its great. We order here twice a month and they never disappoint!
