Excellent service to reasonable trips. very large selection in the menu. good food.

The restaurant was surprisingly empty for a Friday night. While the food was delicious, I found it to be quite expensive; you could get the same chicken biryani dish for R30 less at another place. Additionally, our waiter had noticeable body odor, which unfortunately affected my overall dining experience. However, the food itself was really tasty.

As a food enthusiast with high standards for taste, portion size, and fair prices, I can confidently say that Southern Spice (also known as Swaruchi) exceeds my expectations in every way. In my opinion, giving it a 5-star rating still doesn't fully capture the essence of this magnificent restaurant. That said, I must be honest—the interior design could use an update. First impressions might mislead newcomers, leading them to think the food might not be great, which couldn’t be further from the truth. In addition to the excellent quality of authentic Indian cuisine, the staff is friendly and provides exceptional service. I highly recommend this place to any discerning Indian food enthusiasts.
