After reading all the positive reviews turned up here.Very chilled out relaxing atmosphere.Okay okay food and a bit on the higher side. The egg chowmein was tasty but looked a bit cheep. The hot chocolate was yummy. The shwarma was a bit dry.The masala omlet was the only thing yummy. As it was raining, we enjoyed relaxing here in a dim lit atmosphere and comfortable ground seating. What User doesn't like about Freedom Cafe:
The service at this restaurant is terrible. There is only one waiter who serves the guests and he has a very bad attitude. He does not know how to speak to the guests. The food is also terrible. This place is not as good as people say. Be cautious! View all feedback.
Bunch of wierdos running the cafe who look like they are high strung on something. Went with my wife to get some food after the Chaalal trek. Ordered Noodles but they served on a frying pan with no plates. On asking for plates , the guy just stood there for 5-10 seconds looking at us in anger. Later on asking for some sauce to have the noodles , they refused to serve us instead scolding us to order everything all at once although we were the only ones in cafe. If you are looking to pay premium prices for less than average food and get some good old bad attitude for spending your hard earned money, this is the place to visit.

This restaurant is extremely overrated. The inexperienced kids running the business seem clueless and will attempt to deceive you at every opportunity.
Had visited this cafe on an evening with friends, good food, great crowd, fantastic beverages in chilling winter. Decent prices
This restaurant is located in a small corner of the market, but their momos are incredibly delicious. If you find yourself in Kasol, be sure to stop by and try them out. You won't be disappointed if you're a fan of momos.
