Jerusalem's first vegan Ethiopian restaurant disappointed not! the place is small and secret. there is no menu. in the round they sit and order the injera that... read more Jerusalem's first vegan Ethiopian restaurant disappointed not! the place is small and secret. there is no menu. in the round they sit and order the injera that comes with all kinds of authentic äthiopien dips. it came with 3 dips (a kicherbse, lenses and split pea), an salat, a traditional boiled potato and carrot stew (although I think that cauliflower would have added) and a hot beet stew. my favorite was the shiro, the literally finger licking good, and the misir wat also had good taste. when I worked in the gentleman, showed me a picture of the injera with the different stuff, and it looked small on his phone, but when it came out, it was the biggest injera I saw in an Ethiopian restaurant in israel. as mentioned in the previous review, a portion is probably enough for 2 people. in consideration of the size of him, and it is modest 40 shekel price, it is really an amazing deal, and one of the best bangs for her buck in the city. I've been totally stuffed and super-energized and I've been planning my next visit. if they want a protein packed, fresh, tasty and affordable vegan meal full of Ethiopian flavors, I highly recommend checking gursha.

In the end, we... read more I was surprised to discover that this small restaurant bar had opened during the pandemic, so my son and I (both vegan) decided to give it a try. In the end, we were very pleased! The service is efficient (fast and effective, though not particularly friendly), the food is extremely authentic and flavorful, and the prices are unbeatable. There is no menu, so customers simply sit at one of the few tables and are served as many plates of injera with various delicious fillings, along with a side salad. Each plate costs NIS 40 and can easily feed two people. We will definitely be returning!
