My friend and I attempted to order a vegan dish at the restaurant, but the woman we asked refused to accommodate us. My friend, who is well-versed in Indian cuisine, was surprised by the lack of flexibility. We recommend going to Sapthagiri instead, where they cater to food allergies and dietary restrictions by clearly marking their menu items and going above and beyond to accommodate their guests. I want to note that I had never tried any of the dishes at this restaurant before, except for the samosas, which were amazing. The filling was delicious and plentiful. The paneer makhani was incredibly creamy, slightly sweet, and the paneer cheese was fantastic. I would rate it 10/10. The garlic naan was also very tasty and paired perfectly with the paneer makhani. The paneer dish also came with a bowl of white rice (I believe it was basmati) and another bowl of rice with lentils. The lentil rice had a unique flavor that I had never experienced before, but I enjoyed it. I had been wanting to try the pani puri for a while. It was served with a sweet tamarind sauce, which surprised me as I was expecting something spicy. It wasn't bad, but I personally prefer more savory flavors. Overall, the meal was fantastic, but if you prefer a more savory option with the pani puri, I would suggest skipping it.
The food at this restaurant was very disappointing. I would not recommend ordering any sweets as I believe they were stale. Additionally, the Bombay sandwich was not worth the money.
The chili cheese toast was delicious. However, I have had better Bombay grilled sandwiches.
Pao Bhaji (In Amul butter) is okay. Aloo Paratha Aloo Paratha Platter wouldnt get again.
