The service was friendly and efficient from the moment we entered. The location is excellent with excellent views of the river and across to the city centre. Magic at sunset on a clear evening. The food I had the pan meerrot lake bass was made to the exact ness I like for fish crispy skin moist meat. What User doesn't like about Hudson Co:
We had to wait for half an hour, even though we had a reservation. The food was incredibly delicious and the service from the waiting staff was great. The only drawback was that the tables are far too close to each other and it was hard to hear each other because the people sitting next to us were very loud. View all feedback.
Crispy Crunchy Rice Cakes were soggy, so were the Pub Fries and the Truffle Tater Tots... sunflower choke included with the Braised Short Ribs was very bitter. The Tuna Tartare was excellent and the pizza was good. Partially due to delivery but restaurants should take the time to figure out best way for their food to travel so as to protect the taste which I dont think they take seriously.
The burger was a good size, not monstrous and not tiny, but the entire bun was wet and that made it really sloppy to eat.
Did not call to let us know the burger was out of stock. Made a request for gluten free sushi and they used tempura.
We went here for my birthday. My husband and I decided to seat at the bar.. Best service ! Moises and Alvaro took care of us. They recommend my husband some beers and also a good scotch. I ordered a hot toddy which was perfect for the cold weather. Food was ok. I would prefer the octopus to be cook a bit more crispy and with some type of lime sauce. But I really love their grill cocktail shrimp. We got the big steak for two TOMAHAWK. It was cooked medium as we ordered and we also got the Brussels sprouts (which we didn?t like at all) it tasted a bit burn. The potato pure was good too. Give it a try and I would recommend you to at the bar not just because of the view but also the service! ????
Really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant. The Bao shrimp appetizers are especially good. Drinks are great and service is top notch. Even with it being overcast the views were amazing. Will definitely return and recommend.
