Description

The Windsor Inn, a staple of northeastern Pennsylvania dining for over 30 years, has garnered mixed reviews recently. While many patrons still rave about its renowned wings—celebrated for their unique sauces and consistent quality—others express disappointment with service delays and rising prices. Some diners reported inconsistency in food quality, particularly with items like the Warsaw casserole and mac and cheese, leading to unmet expectations. Despite its nostalgic charm and dedicated customer base, recent experiences have raised concerns about the restaurant's attention to detail and overall value. As it stands, the Windsor Inn remains a place of contrasts, where past glories meet present challenges.

The food is excellent, the service is friendly and welcoming, and the wings are as delicious as always. We love this place and highly recommend it!

I used to really enjoy this restaurant, but my last visit was disappointing. The food took a long time to arrive, and I had to get up several times to ask for things I needed. Additionally, the prices have gone up.

Wings. Absolutely delicious wings. This old-school bar serves up excellent food. They have a nice selection of draft beers and ample seating. The wings truly take center stage—generous in size, perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a variety of flavorful sauces.

I have always loved this place, but today I was disappointed. When I ordered extra crispy wings, what I received were barely cooked. I focused on the flats since they were slightly more done, but ultimately I had to tell the waitress I wasn't satisfied and reminded her that I had specifically requested them to be crispy. Despite my efforts to push through a few rubbery bites and with my entire table agreeing that the wings weren't properly cooked, she returned with only five out of the ten wings I ordered and mentioned that they had a hard time in the kitchen. I assured her it wasn't her fault, but I did let her know I would be writing this review on Google. This type of service would never have happened under the previous ownership. For the best wings at a better price, head over to Mark's in Simpson instead, because Windsor now charges $15 and seems to disregard customer satisfaction.

This restaurant offers some of the finest wings in northeastern Pennsylvania! The sauce is distinctive and flavorful, and the wings are always cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring that every visit is a wonderful dining experience.
