What Tetiana K doesn't like about Lisbon Cafe:
It looks weird outside but when you get inside, it is cute. Food was good but nothing super special. Ordered stuffed mushrooms when started to eat, figured out there are shrimps inside. I 'm allergic to shellfish. There was no a word on a menu that mushrooms are stuffed with shellfish. When pointed that to the server, they did not even apologize, took no action to replace the order and made me pay in full for somethi... View all feedback.
It was a nice day, so we called ahead to check if the outdoor seating is still available. And it was. I would clean the cushions on the outside seating area, as some have black spots (especially as they went with white/beige cushions). Overall, the service was sufficient, although it seemed like they forgot about us outside for like 30 minutes towards the end of the meal. We got the paella, mac&cheese (for the kiddo), stuffed clams, and the grilled octopus app. Food was great on all fronts, although I think the pricing is a little too high.
The Lisbon Cafe was once a favorite spot for my family during special occasions. We used to enjoy the delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and friendly service. However, upon my recent return, I noticed some changes. The management had changed, resulting in a different overall atmosphere. The owner did not greet us warmly, the waitstaff did not engage in friendly conversation, they did not change our silverware between courses, and they did not serve the complimentary salad with the tasty dressing we used to love. The bread at the table was not warmed, and the complimentary chips were stale. They also stopped providing tableside pepper cracking. Despite the still excellent main dishes and drinks, the overall atmosphere and service have declined. When paying top dollar, one expects more than just good food.
Lisbon cafe! A taste of Portugal in the neighborhood. Lunch sets cost only $40 . We all got huge portion of my entree, and a humongous slice of cheese cake or flan . If lemon sorbet is your thing , they will serve your the ice inside a real lemon cup . Cute and delicious . Oh, restaurant served appetizing olives and bread , Free!! and they are good stuff , especially the olives
There are few places that make you feel like you are home Lisbon is one of those places. From the moment we entered, Max, greeted us with a smile and made us feel like we were guests in his home. Tyler, our waitress, was attentive without being overbearing, patient as she answered all of our many questions. The sangria was at every table in the restaurant and with good reason the perfect beverage in the middle of a heat wave (actually, the perfect beverage for any summer day). Needles to say, the food was Incredible, the service impeccable. We are already looking forward to our next meal at Lisbon...
We had a 90th birthday party for our mom. We can't say enough about Louie and Max. They did everything they could to make our party success. The food was great. The service was great. Hands down. I would have no qualms about having another party there. We have been there for dinner numerous times. Many times when you have a party, the food is not as good and service not as good but our experience was top notch. We were a party of 45 and it was a total success. Dont hesitate to have dinner or a celebration.
