What R S doesn't like about Ken's Artisan Bakery:
Being a big fan of french baguettes, sandwiches, charcuterie, I was quite eager to test out Ken's. Unfortunately, it was crowded uncomfortable, the wait to order about 15 minutes, followed by another 45 minute wait for the order to be completed. The croque monsieur was surprisingly bland, with the bread burnt black. Ken's Hero sandwich was also flavorless, with tasteless veggies, acceptable meats, but a Ciabatta brea... View all feedback. Recently lived in France for 4 years. When I came back to the US, I tried many baguettes at other places, all of which were an abysmal attempt. I can say with certainty, Ken’s has the most authentic tasting baguette that you will find in Portland and perhaps on the west coast. Bravo! View all feedback.
