This restaurant offers unique dining experience with its amazing stylish Shanghai deco combined with delicious selection of Oriental fusion dishes. Do visit Opium at night as there will be entertainment by a live Guzheng performance. This will give one a certain way of a memorable dining experience. Service was perfect and we were made to feel very much at home as soon as we stepped into the door. View all feedback.
What Jane Gnai doesn't like about Opium Wū Xiāng Yuàn:
So I have to say that my experience in this restaurant is quite painful. Firstly, the food was mediocre although very well presented. Secondly, the staff was constantly harassing us to clear our cups and cutlery eventhough we weren't done, it felt like they were trying to get rid of us as fast as possible. Honestly, the restaurant is so dark as well. Perhaps others may like it, however I didn't enjoy it. View all feedback.
Older ambiente. great eating! eating presentation is so wow. got a rm50 food voucher without minimum payment, thank you
The hotel is located in the heart of bukit bintang. decent place for late evening dinner/night. oriental kitchen with unique taste. beautiful ambiente
Eating is really delicious and I'm glad I celebrated my birthday here. cocktails were really good for the price. we took a birthday dinner package n the cost is about rm250 for two inclusive cocktails for two. the employees have treated us well. loved the decoration and thanks u for the Chinese peach beer for my birthday. desserts were too sweet and suitable for people who like sweet things. *salmon curry was amazing *5 stars for cocktails
The ambiente is really beautiful. I had a reservation, so I sat inside, which was private and quieter. the cocktails were really interesting and delicious. for eating are quite large. the black fried rice (cobo made of black glutinous rice ink jasmin rice) was really good. the crispy noodles were really crispy and I love that they only poured on the serve into the gravy. the staff were very friendly and often to check for us.
Had a selection of dim sum siew mai, money bags, crystal dumpling and salted egg custard bun and would give it a 4/5. But we’d give the 5 spice braised duck a solid 5/5! The flavour is unique an acquired taste. Portion is enough to share between two people, we loved this dish and would recommend to anyone coming here. Aside from the food, the staffs were accommodating. Ambience is great though it is kinda dark, had a hard time trying to read the menu
