They have been around in Jena for over a year and can certainly be credited for bringing vegan / vegetarian food in Jena into the mainstream. They have a pretty small menu comprising of about 5-6 burgers but a wide selection of sauces to choose from. The food quality is pretty high and the ingredients are fresh / homemade. The burger patties ranging from Kidney beans to Tofu to Polenta and Hemp are quite creative and not the usual vegetables kind. Moreover, they are always adding interesting stuff to their menu, like the latest vegan Hotdog. Given the low prices you pay for the quality and the taste, you will never want to eat a McD or a Subway sandwich again, even if you are a meat lover!

On the question whether one could also have one of the 11 Burger Saucen: “Nö.” That I am disappointed after 10 minutes waiting for sausage with Stino Senf, everyone can understand.
