Meine Empf... read more Wir waren mal wieder auf einen Drink in der Weintanne - und wie immer begeistert. Danny macht einfach die besten Cocktails, mit Können und mit Liebe. Meine Empfehlung: Platz an der Bar nehmen und sich beraten lassen, auf was man gerade Lust haben könnte. Dieser Barkeeper hat immer eine gute Idee, was gerade zur persönlichen Laune passen könnte. Es gibt keine bessere Adresse für den Apero oder Abschlussdrink in Jena.

We went for a cocktail and had actually intended go for a meal somewhere else. The cocktails were great and the service was friendly, so we decided to stay for dinner. We liked the small, simple menu and went for the Spanish bread salad first, followed by tempura chicken and a rib-eye steak, respectively. The dessert was some strawberry ice-cream tart. The food wasn’t exactly cheap, but of very decent quality. However, the wine recommendation (Chianti) wasn’t great. The Chianti was too light for our liking and it had a slight vinegar flavor to it. Honestly, if your wine is no good, don’t flog it.

We come to watch one of the best bartenders, I've known, work.Can't say enough good things. Nice place, suitable for business or romantic or just having drinks with friends... check it out!

If after two weeks of service I spontaneously get one of the sought-after places in the wine pan, and after a Saturn and two Bramble it becomes clear that there... read more If after two weeks of service I spontaneously get one of the sought-after places in the wine pan, and after a Saturn and two Bramble it becomes clear that there is simply the best and inexpensive cocktails of the city that are perfectly appropriate for the quality AND I tell the waiter when paying for a white wine plus Mojito that there is always a piece of time in this shop, I feel at home. Here the employees are not service personnel but personalities. Thanks and up to two weeks!
