At first, I thought the meal was a bit pricey, but with the generous portion size, it turned out to be worth it. The food was incredibly tasty. However, the menu only had two vegan options, which made choosing what to eat quite simple. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Half Forest 반상자림:
There is only a vegan meal option and it comes with a number of sides and soup. Nothing spirit blows, but meet the place perfectly after a long day with a lot of walking. Updated by previous rating on 2022-10-13 View all feedback.

Despite having only two vegan options on the menu, I highly recommend dining at this restaurant. I tried the mushroom stir fry and found it to be delicious and satisfying. It was served with a variety of banchans. The soup wasn't to my liking, but that's just my personal preference. The atmosphere was pleasant and the owner spoke excellent English. The restaurant is conveniently located a short walk from Seongsan Ilchulbong, making it a great choice for a meal after visiting the area. This review has been updated as of October 4, 2022.
This restaurant has two clearly labeled vegetarian/vegan options on their menu, each priced at around 10,000krw. I tried the mushroom stir fry, which was delicious and satisfying. The banchan, including soybean sprout soup, fried mushrooms, mung bean jelly, kimchi, and sesame oil slaw, was also enjoyable. It's a fantastic choice if you're in the area. I returned the following day to sample the fried vegetable dish, which was good but I would recommend the stir fry for the variety of side dishes it comes with. We visited the place after going to Seongsan Ilchulbong and had a very nice lunch. There are only two options marked as vegetarian. I tried the mushroom stir-fry and it was really good and filling. It comes with side dishes so it becomes more varied that just the mushrooms and rice. The staff was nice and understand English well. The coffee was good also. Although the vegan options are scarce, they are great and come with many side dishes. The kimchi is vegan friendly, the waiter told me, as he is very fluent in English. The place is super cozy and the food and prices are awesome.
