Could be because I love taking my shoes off and playing with the beach sand while I wait for my food! The food (especially the seafood and chicken) is just delicious and I can give it no negative feedback. The reason for my low rating is that it gets very hot and could do with circulation. Staff are super friendly!!

That said the food w... read more I’ve been coming here for many years. The place is starting to look a bit better with the tattered iconic flags on the ceiling now removed. That said the food was excellent and even being very busy the staff were friendly and the service quite good. Nothing quite beats having good food, good wine along with some good company in sight of the waves. Nothing quite beats the casual atmosphere and being able to stick your toes in the sand conversing over a good meal.

The menu had the usual South African seafood range. Tasty. So once you get over the fact that there is no real tapas being served, you will enjoy the fare. Service was good. Quick and cheerful. Ambience was excellent. Right on the beach. What more can one ask for ?
