Watson's Carry-out - Jefferson

Had to make a trip there while visiting my family. Our daughter loves the hot turkey sandwich. They are well known for their fried chicken. They were very busy so patience when calling is necessary. I enjoyed the California wrap and house salad. Worth the wait!

Fried chicken i ordered was hard as a rock, could not eat it. I was very disappointed. How they can look at the chicken and see it’s over cooked and hard but still serve it to a customer is so wrong, especially for how pricy their food is.

Food could have used more seasoning. Basically bland. The baked beans didn’t taste like real baked beans at all. Asked what was popular to eat and was told everything. Definitely NOT true. And lastly workers seemed uncomfortable in serving me and I really didn’t like that. Racism still exists. Had better tasting food and more friendly service at the local hospital. Do not recommend.

Great local place, we had the fried chicken, was delicious, fresh ,hot and crispy not oily at all. Homemade Mac salad was delicious. Also had the grilled all beef hot dog, best I've had in years. The hush puppies are amazing. Parking: Parking off street in back, gravel lot, watch out motorcycles.
