What Reg K doesn't like about Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken:
We ordered the 8 piece dinner. The breasts and thighs were fine, but the wings were so small they had hardly any meat on them at all. The drumsticks weren't much better. They were about the size of a cornish hen, maybe a little smaller. We would probably have been better off to order fewer pieces, and specify which ones. No more spicy fried chicken, no more red beans and rice and the chicken was pink inside they suck now
They quit selling the spicy crispy and taste like the regular recipe has changed. Does not taste like the chicken we have always got. It has always been my favorite, I'm so dissatisfied. After years of being the only place I got chicken they have lost a loyal customer.
I live about 15 mins away. I ordered a family size boneless chicken breast tenders and it was stop nice and hot when I got home. Best chicken I’ve ever had. Coleslaw is the best also along with biscuits. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back.
Always love the chicken gizzards! This past visit has 1 disappointment, no honey for biscuits, everything else was great.
