La Perla - Jefferson City

As someone who recently moved from Southern California, I have high standards when it comes to Mexican food. La Perla is undoubtedly the best in the area.

Authentic Mexican cuisine with genuine flavors, and the queso con chorizo is delicious! It's an excellent spot for gatherings or for a quick takeout meal. A refreshing alternative to typical road food. As for parking, there's enough space to accommodate a semi on the shoulder, located just past the mailboxes to ensure cross traffic remains unobstructed.

Authentic ingredients, genuine staff, and truly delicious food. This place is the ultimate destination for flavorful Latino cuisine. The red sauce is incredible! I travel frequently and while the road is narrow for a semi truck, it’s manageable. I will definitely be stopping by again soon!

Was starving and near the area, found this place online. Fiancee went out to get food, said place looked sketchy and eerily quiet, was not sure of quality. I ordered the veggie burrito and it was delish!

I ordered a soft shell taco and a Carne Asada Torta and the bread was great, as well as the cheese tomato and lettuce... but the meat that was on it was disgusting. It was so fatty and grissley and it honestly looked like dog food. Not going back after that. I hurt my tooth on one of the pieces because it was so hard. They need to upgrade the quality of their meat.
