We sat outside because inside they had a perfume smell so strong it gave me a headache so we had to ask to move outside. Food then came and daughter had a pizza which was fine. We however had the Carbonara and it was pretty terrible. We actually had to send it back as it was basically scrambled egg and pasta. The chef cooked it too hot and the eggs scrambled rather than creating th classic smooth emulsion that you would expect with a good carbonara. Probably wouldn 't go back as I feel this is such a basic dish that if the chef can 't make it correctly then that doesn 't bode well for the other food. Service was pretty good and in fairness they did bring a 'slightly ' improved version but not enough for.me to sing praises. I appreciate it was August time and it 's typical for all restaurants in Javea to be not on form this time of year.

Well wor... read more Excellent, authentic Italian food. Lovely restaurant, friendly staff, good service and great location in the old town with a car park 5 mins walk away. Well worth a visit. Would definitely go back as food was fabulous and many good options on a well constructed menu.
