The food was very good, but the porti... read more The initial welcome was friendly, but as the meal progressed, this became less so, bordering on rudeness... disappointing. The food was very good, but the portions were disappointing (the caillette was a small dumpling cut in half, accompanied by 4 or 5 small new potatoes), and there was an enormous salad to fill the plate . Still hungry, we ordered a plate of local cheeses, which were placed on the table without any explanation of the varieties... we felt like we were being treated like clueless tourists . So, very disappointed, which is a real shame because the village itself is exceptional!
