Raven Bistro - Jasper
Raven Bistro
Description
The Raven Bistro in Jasper offers a dining experience with mixed reviews. While some found the food to be overpriced and of poor quality, others thoroughly enjoyed the unique dishes with Mediterranean and Middle Eastern flavors. The service ranged from attentive and quick to frustrating and lacking communication. The cozy environment and diligent staff make it a nice spot for those with dietary restrictions, although the electronic reservation system may need some attention. Overall, the Raven Bistro seems to have two faces - one worth visiting for dinner and another that may leave customers disappointed.

The best vegan resturant with great vegan food choice. Loved eating each and every dish. Great service and worth visiting
Had the most amazing dinner The Raven Bistro tonight, belated celebrations for my birthday. Dinner was to die for and the service was unbelievable. Our server, Rachel, was extremely knowledgeable about our vegan options and just absolutely amazing. Will definitely be back again and again when in town.
As a chef I questioned some of the dishes, as a chef I tried the mix.....Result fantastic would recommend this venue to all. To top off it off the staff were also fantastic
We decided on The Raven for a fancier option for dinner. The Raven definitely has an elevated, upscale feel. Great spot for a date night. I was able to get a reservation earlier in the day for the evening ahead. I highly recommend a reservation as it filled up quickly. I thought the service was excellent. Our server was super friendly and chatted with us a bit knowing we were visitors/ from out of town. I ordered the saffron seafood pot. It was excellent! Extremely flavorful and all the variety of seafood tasted fresh. Dessert is also a must. The crème brûlée was unlike any I'd ever had. Great experience at The Raven. Definitely would return next time I make it back to Jasper!
Street parking available if you can find some. Place was 10% full Friday at 11:30AM. Waitress was good. Place feels nice, a little fancier. Schnitzel was best I've had in a Long time. 10/10. Rubarb chutney was a lovely addition. Charred lemon was also a cool bonus. Vegetable black bean soup was tomato based so not my thing but boyfriend loved it. Boyfriend got the chicken schwarma. Loved it. So much on this plate, so many good flavors. Naan was soft, chicken was moist and flavorful. 9/10. Overall 100% would come back. Next time chickpea burger looked sounds amazing.
