Beautiful place! Very simply decorated. Country style eggs benedict was delicious. Bacon perfectly cooked. Big pieces of sausage in the gravy. Just wish it had came out hot. It wasn't warm enough to melt the cheese. Chicken and waffle was pretty great. Very crispy chicken, nicely seasoned. Enjoyed the additional choice of spicy maple syrup. Waffle was too sweet for me. What Jesus Ramirez Sandoval doesn't like about R Table At Brew:
Used to be AWESOME! Now since they have changed hands, the quality of the beef has gone down tremendously. On my last visit, my bun was burnt and burger was way too done and dry. Wouldn’t recommend for the burgers anymore ! The fries are still awesome! View all feedback.

Since the maple syrup is sweet, the sweetness of the waffle was slightly over for me. Fruit salad was very nice! Nice fresh, light option.Didn't stop us from eating all of the food. Will definitely stop on our next trip back.
Great breakfast today. I purchased the American breakfast 3 eggs any way you'd like, bacon strips and breakfast potatoes with whole grain toast with locally sourced jam, and my girlfriend got (2)biscuits and gravy with fresh fruit. All under $24. Food was served relatively fast and no added seasoning was needed a great very clean restaurant. Fresh ground coffee was available as were any alcoholic beverages you might want. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcomed
My husband and I are used to driving to Louisville to get good food as is the life of foodies who live in the rural Midwest. However, we decided to give R Table a try on a whim with low expectations as it seems most people in the area just don’t “get it” when it comes to high quality dining experiences. Now onto the actually review…. I ordered a steak and my husband the salmon. (I love that you order everything from appetizer to dessert all at once. The steak was cooked slightly less than the medium I asked for, which was totally fine because I’d rather that than too cooked. The salmon was AMAZING, and my husband and I actually ended up switching plates. For sides we both got asparagus, and it’s a hearty portion of good quality asparagus. Most places give you 3 4 wimpy stalks, but this portion was much larger and cooked perfectly. The dessert was the perfect top off. I wasn’t sure I could eat more, but the cheesecake was a small portion and very light and refreshing.Besides the food, the service was top notch attentive but not overbearing, extremely polite and knowledgeable about the menu, and we even got to speak to the owner who you can tell has a true passion for what he is creating. We’ve decided that if we don’t have time to drive an hour to Louisville for date nights, R Table at Brew would be our only local choice.
The restaurant Jasper was needing! Such wonderful local farm to table food. Welcoming atmosphere, and service. They knocked it all out of the park. The autumn salad was unique and delicious, the French Chop was presented and cooked to perfection. The whipped cheesecake…my goodness. The manhattans? Wonderfully prepared and cinnamon-y bourbon-y finish. You choose your salad, entree, sides, and desert. The value of the food we received is incredible. I hope this restaurant is in business for many years! Vegetarian options: So many options, they even ask you if you have any special request, allergens, or restrictions Kid-friendliness: This restaurant is all inclusive. Kid friendly, family friendly, casual or semi formal all welcomed. Very welcoming staff. Parking: Plenty of parking whether it is Jasper’s generously wide street parking or their lot Dietary restrictions: The restaurant asks you during reservation booking if you or guests have special restrictions or requests
The new format was very much appreciated and the choices were all excellent! I had the French-cut Pork Chop, that was so tender, flavor was so spot on. Had asparagus side that was cooked to perfect crispness without the hard stems. Loved the whipped cheesecake for dessert. Prices were reasonable for anywhere outside of Dubois County for the same experience! I really applaud the owners for taking the risk to bring farm-to-table here to the country! It’s only going to get better as they engage with local produce growers. The Fischer meats were outstanding! This was exactly the experience I hoped it would be! Room to grow as far as the menu. Excited to see what comes in the near future! Having a seasonal menu will definitely make my dining calendar for each of the seasons!! Would go here for special occasions, but more for just relaxed, enjoyable dining experience. Thank you to Gill, our waiter for the evening.
